Who we are
My name is Tony Farag. I am the founder and owner of Far Edge Studio. I grew up in Washington state and studied engineering at the University of Washington before moving to Phoenix, AZ. I started this company in 2009 after more than twelve years working at Motorola as a software engineer designing and building cellular networks. Wanting to pursue my own creative and personal interests, I set out to build a company that would allow me to combine my desire to help people with my passion for building products. Far Edge Studio is the platform that allows me to do both.
Being founder and owner affords me the luxury of establishing clear direction for not only what I do, but how I do it. I believe in integrity, hard work, contributing value, and having fun. I also firmly believe the same principles that guide my personal life should guide my business and my relationships with clients. Therefore, these core tenets are the standards you should expect of me and my team wherever and whenever you interact with us.
When it comes to contributing value, one aspect of my business that I am most proud of is the fact that I am both an engineer and business operator. This allows me to bring even more experience, knowledge, and understanding to your project because when you talk to me, I can speak to both your technical and business goals.
